Facility Amenities
Birch Hall is a 6270-square-foot gymnasium space and an attached kitchen and access to the Willow Room which can be used as a green room or stage.
With round table seating for 470 people and theatre seating for 754 people, this fully-equipped space has an inhouse audio system, portable audio equipment, an attached catering kitchen and rooms. You can also view a presentation or videos on the two-story projection screen.
This first-floor multipurpose room includes a soundboard, speakers and lighting equipment perfect for theatre, group presentations and cultural events. The Willow Room is 1012 square feet with round table seating for 64 people and theatre seating for 100 people.
The Willow Room features a two-story high ceiling and a sidewall that can open into the Birch Hall space to create a large stage for your next large event or celebration.
Featuring lots of natural light, easy-to-clean counters and large overhead doors, our first-floor Muck 'n Guck Room is designed for craft groups, painting nights and events that get messy.
This space is convenient for caterers to stage a meal or reception snacks and comes equipped with 2 stoves/ovens, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and ice machine with plenty of counter space and a food prep area. It also features a roll up bar window that opens into the Birch Hall for easy service. The kitchen's generous size makes it ideal for cooking classes, demonstrations or a community kitchen space. The caterer's staging kitchen is connected to both the Birch Hall and Willow Room and can support your fundraiser, event, work or meeting.
The Evergreen Room is equipped with a TV for presentations and virtual training. It has rolling tables that can be set up for board meetings, workshops and training. It features two wide windows that bring in natural light.
The room opens onto our private patio space which is great for BBQ and outdoor events. The Evergreen Room is 442 square feet with a seating capacity of 30 people and theatre seating for 40 people.
If desired, a built-in movable wall can be closed off to customize the space into two small classrooms or meeting rooms.
Our secured private patio comes with Edison bulb lighting for a trendy atmosphere. There is an option to bring a BBQ and/or rent our staging catering kitchen. The Patio is 431 square feet and has a capacity of up to 20 people.
The Boyle Street Neighbourhood Playspace is Edmonton's newest playground. This playground features accessible play equipment and incorporates Indigenous teachings throughout the space.
The playground is a collaboration between the City of Edmonton, Boyle Street Community League and YMCA of Northern Alberta.
Enjoy heated secure underground parking available on 104 Avenue. Additional street parking is available on 103A Avenue.

Court Spaces
Whether you’re just trying Pickleball or badminton out for the first time, or you’re a seasoned pro, our spacious Birch Hall offers a quiet space for you to solely focus on your game.
Drop-in is $5 per player. Courts are available for Pickleball on Wednesdays from 1–3 pm, Fridays from 5–8pm and Sundays from 11am–1pm. They're available for badminton on Saturdays from 1–3pm and Sundays from 1:30–3:30pm.
